Levels and experience
How much experience each level takes and everything that speeds it up.
The curve
There is no level cap. Each level costs more than the one before:
| Level | Total experience |
|---|---|
| 2 | 100 |
| 10 | 9,300 |
| 50 | 1,847,300 |
| 100 | 15,694,800 |
| 200 | 129,389,800 |
| 400 | 1,050,779,800 |
| 700 | 5,667,864,800 |
Where experience comes from
Every monster and the boss add experience to the round; when the boss falls, it is split equally among the living characters.
To make up for the split, a crew earns a party bonus: 1 alive: +0% · 2 alive: +15% · 3 alive: +30%.
Bonuses
All bonuses are added over the base experience (two +50% bonuses make ×2, not ×2.25).
| Source | Bonus |
|---|---|
| Early rate (by character level) | ×3 below 20, ×2 below 40, ×1.5 below 60 |
| Sandy in the crew | +15% |
| VIP | +10% |
| Store XP boost | +50% for 1 h of hunting |
| Bounty dishes | +3% to +16% |
| Gear with the XP extra | Varies by rarity |
Offline
While you are away, the hunt keeps going for up to 8 h and experience counts at 70%.
